We walk the job, look at how the ground drains and where the truck can reach, and write the estimate out in front of you. Nothing to sign on the day.

We file for the approach, book weather that will hold, and take the broken slab away. Keep off it for a week and you are finished with us.
Reading An Estimate
Four things a good bid will already have answered
- Is the approach priced separately? The section crossing the right-of-way is built to the municipality's spec, not yours, and it carries its own permit. A single lump sum with no mention of it usually means somebody has not looked yet.
- What is the base, and how many lifts? Stone depth and how many passes it was compacted in are invisible the day the job finishes and decide how long it lasts. It is also the easiest line to quietly shave.
- Where are the joints going? Concrete cracks. Planned joints decide where, and laying them out is a design step that happens before the truck arrives, not after.
- We pull the permit and meet the inspection. Ours to file, ours to be there for. And ask us for the certificate of insurance - it comes back the same day.
